JP Cullen selected as general contractor

JP Cullen has been selected as the general contractor for the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Medicine and Public Health Health Sciences Learning Center Enhancement Project. Construction will begin June 26.

JP Cullen has grown with the University of Wisconsin-Madison for five generations, ranging from the early years at Bascom Hall in 1925 through the 1960’s dormitory boom, on to the opening of the remodeled School of Education, and then ground breaking on the School of Human Ecology, along with the challenging renovations and expansions including Sterling Hall and Camp Randall.

The construction team — led by Project Manager Frank Powers and supported by Project Superintendent Marty Johnson and Project Executive Jeannie Cullen Schultz — has already met with architects from OPN and SLAM and the HSLC facilities team to discuss and refine the construction process and schedule.

JP Cullen and the entire construction and design team will continue to work closely with the facilities team to ensure that building occupants are notified of upcoming construction activities, including on this site.
